mulling things over

My teacher Kim

I just want to mention what a good teacher Kim is.  We had a great class today.  This is the Ageless class, which pretty much means everyone is a) no spring chicken, and b) likely to have some sort of physical difficulty.  So we do pretty basic poses, and we don’t do inversions except the most gentle ones, like Salamba Sarvangasana (shoulderstand) on a chair and Viparita Karani (legs up the wall), but it’s not a goof-off class either.  She makes us work hard, but she does it in an extremely kind and gentle way.

Class is on Wednesday, and I tend to be more assiduous in my home practice for the rest of the week.

Thanks, Kim!
