This is always a test for me. My nascent habits tend to go out the window when I’m traveling. But I’m going to try. I can use a blanket from the bed, and use the bathroom or kitchen floor so I don’t have to be on carpet. I might stick my strap in the bag to make it easier to do Supta Padangusthasana, which does seem to be a good travel pose, although I can’t really say why.
Along with my sister D, I’m going to visit my mother, on the first anniversary of my father’s death, last Valentine’s Day. I think we can have a good time. And I will be remembering to breathe. Trouble with breathing is what got Dad in the end, and so it’s particularly important to me.
I’ll bring my yoga mat so you have a sticky surface to work (no — play?) on.
