- I love hanging upside down. I’m very crackly right now, and it’s nice to feel my back stretching and crackling out. I am amazed at how quickly I drop into a feeling of peace.
- A pair of washcloths under my hands make warm soft pads on the concrete floor in reclining poses like Supta Baddha Konasana (reclined cobbler), Setu Bandha Sarvangasana (bridge), and Savasana (corpse).
- I started physical therapy yesterday for all my aching joints, and Supta Padangusthasana (reclining hamstring stretch) is one of my homework exercises. It’s just the one where your leg is straight up, but then I do the other variations too.
- Breathing practice is helping me stay calm while my body is behaving so weirdly.
Washcloths!? What a good idea! Are they wet?
Nope, dry, folded in squares.
